Salary: Negotiable, DOE</p><p>Kendrick Recruitment is searching for a visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join a world-class luxury wine estate in the heart of Franschhoek. This senior leadership role is ideal for a dynamic professional with a passion for data, analytics, AI, and technology someone ready to drive group-wide strategy and lead a high-performing global team.</p><p>? What youll be doing:</p><p>Head up the data & technology division, leading talented teams across multiple countries</p><p>Oversee software systems, e-commerce platforms, apps, websites & hospitality tech</p><p>Develop and implement a global data & AI strategy</p><p>Build & optimise data pipelines, integrations, and reporting systems</p><p>Deliver tech projects on time & within budget ?</p><p>Provide data-driven insights to shape marketing, e-commerce & wider business strategies</p><p>Ensure compliance with GDPR, POPIA & other regulations</p><p>? What youll need:</p><p>Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field</p><p>10+ years experience in data, analytics, software development and/or engineering</p><p>Proven leadership & people management skills</p><p>Advanced knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics)</p><p>Strong programming/data science experience (Python, R, MATLAB, pandas)</p><p>CRM knowledge (HubSpot, Salesforce)</p><p>Experience in e-commerce & hospitality tech (advantageous)</p><p>Willingness to travel internationally & work on-site in Franschhoek, 5 days a week</p><p>?
