Johannesburg: Head of Marketing (Group Head)

Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead the implementation of a group-wide marketing strategy to support revenue growth, brand positioning, and market expansion. Own the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation and strong ROI Team Leadership & Development: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing central marketing team. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning Brand & Digital Excellence: Ensure brand consistency while supporting unique brand identities. Oversee all digital marketing efforts including SEO/SEM, paid media, social media, and lead generation, using data-driven insights to optimize performance Content & Communications: Guide the creation of high-impact content, from whitepapers to executive communications Manage PR and media relations to strengthen our external presence and thought leadership Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with Sales, Product, HR, and regional leadership to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with core business needs and provide regular strategic updates to executive leadership Skills & Experience (Not negotiable): A minimum of a degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field 8-10 years’ experience in a highly commercial organization, with at least 8 years in a senior management role A minimum of 10 years’ professional experience within Distribution, Services, Technical/IT, or a related multi-client environment Proven expertise in strategic planning, digital marketing, brand development, and marketing automation A strong international marketing perspective with experience operating across multiple geographic markets Deep insight into the challenges and opportunities within the Technology and IT Services sector Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Experience in B2B and Global marketing Contact JADE GELDENHUYS on
