East London: JUNIOR BUYER ASSISTANT/QS SUPPORT

JUNIOR BUYER ASSISTANT/QS SUPPORT – EAST LONDON – Our Client in the Fire Protection Industry is looking for a proactive and detail-driven Junior Buyer Assistant to support their procurement and estimating team. The role will focus on sourcing and capturing supplier pricing, compiling quotations into Bills of Quantities, and ensuring competitive pricing for tender submissions. Requirements: Qualification or coursework in Procurement, or Quantity Surveying (advantageous but not essential). 1–2 years’ experience in buying, procurement, or tender support (fire protection / construction preferred). Strong MS Excel and general computer skills Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail. Strong communication and relationship-building skills with suppliers. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Capture and update pricing into Bills of Quantities for tender submissions. Compare, evaluate, and summarize supplier quotations for review by senior staff. Maintain and update supplier databases and pricing records. Support the QS/estimating team with administrative and pricing-related tasks.
