An established company in Malta is seeking an experienced Electrician to join their dynamic team.  The purpose of an Electrician is to perform skilled electrical work. They are responsible for ensuring the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems meet safety, efficiency, and quality standards. Electricians play a critical role in supporting operations.

Responsibilities: 

• Installing brackets for cable trunking and cable trays.
• Installing cable ladders, cable trays, cable baskets, and cable trunking.
• Installing both metal and plastic trunking.
• Marking out and installing both PVC and metal conduit.
• Chasing trenches for conduit installation if required.
• Mounting and installing consumer units and distribution boards.
• Installing free-standing switchboards, MCCs, change-over panels, and Power Factor Units.
• Installing copper tape and earth electrodes.
• Wiring basic power and lighting circuits, such as radial, ring, and other common circuits, as indicated on a drawing.
• Wiring circuitry involving PIRs, contactors, relays, dimming ballasts, and dimmer packs according to a drawing.
• Terminating cables in consumer units and distribution boards.
• Terminating cables in socket outlets, fused connection units, and similar power accessories.
• Terminating control cables in control panels, contactors, relays, and other similar equipment.
• Planning and pulling all types of single and multicore cables.
• Terminating and glanding all types of single and multicore cables.
• Terminating and glanding single and three-phase pumps and motors.
• Testing socket outlets for polarity, continuity, and insulation.
• Testing for RCDs and voltage presence.
• Basic reading of electrical wiring schematics used during installation.
