Boksburg: Project Manager – ORE Crushing & Screening (East Rand)

PROJECT MANAGER – (East Rand) Are you ready to take charge of big-ticket mining projects? Were looking for a Project Manager with solid experience in ore crushing, screening, and conveyor belting systems to lead engineering projects across mine sites. Engineering & Technical Oversight Provide technical guidance on ore crushing, screening, and conveyor system design, layout, and optimization. Ensure engineering specifications meet operational, safety, and compliance requirements. Review and approve technical drawings, process flows, and installation schematics. Stakeholder & Contractor Management Coordinate with internal engineering teams, EPC contractors, OEMs, and site operations. Manage contractor performance, ensuring quality, safety, and contractual obligations are met. Liaise with mine management and client representatives to ensure alignment with project objectives. Risk, Safety & Compliance Enforce compliance with mining safety regulations, environmental standards, and engineering codes. Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure commissioning is executed safely, with full documentation and training for operational handover. Reporting & Documentation Maintain detailed project documentation including progress reports, budgets, and engineering records. Provide regular updates to executive management and stakeholders What youll do: Drive projects from design to commissioning Manage contractors & multidisciplinary teams Deliver on time, on budget & to the highest safety standards Bring technical expertise in ore processing & material handling What youll need: Mechanical/Electrical/Mining Engineering degree 4 years project management in mining/heavy industry Hands-on knowledge of crushing plants, screens & conveyors Strong leadership, stakeholder & problem-solving skills PMP/Prince2 is a plus
