Job Description
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Advantageous: working knowledge of CRM or ERP systems.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Process sales orders and quotations received via phone, email, fax, or in-person according to company procedures.
- Liaise with dispatch, purchasing, accounts, and external sales representatives as required.
- Identify, research, and resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
- Assist in growing the company’s client base by identifying top prospects.
- Provide product and service information to customers and support the sales team.
- Maintain accurate records of requests, quotations, and communications.
- Follow up on quotations and ensure timely responses to customer inquiries.
- Support the launch and implementation of new products.
- Attend sales meetings and training sessions as required.
- Complete sales-related reports and communicate trends, results, and recommendations to management.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and SOPs.
- Assist with inventory management and communicate stock availability to the sales team.
- Other duties as assigned.
