Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all lodge operations, including guest services, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance.
  
• Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team to ensure smooth daily operations.
  
• Drive an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure.
  
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures across departments.
  
• Manage budgets, stock control, and financial reporting.
  
• Oversee maintenance schedules to ensure lodge infrastructure and equipment are in excellent condition.
  
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation.
  
• Foster strong relationships with guests, staff, suppliers, and local stakeholders.
  
• Support conservation and sustainability initiatives within the lodge and surrounding reserve.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Proven experience in lodge or hospitality management, ideally in a safari or luxury lodge environment.
  
• Strong leadership, people management, and interpersonal skills.
  
• Excellent organizational and administrative ability.
  
• Financial acumen, with experience in budget management and cost control.
  
• Knowledge of conservation principles and sustainable lodge practices advantageous
  
• Ability to work in a remote environment with flexibility and resilience.
  
• Hospitality or tourism qualification beneficial.
