About the Role
Hire Resolve is currently seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Vereeniging. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a wide range of infrastructure projects in Vereeniging and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare civil designs for individual & commercial buildings.
- Planning and overseeing all projects within the civil and structural department to ensure compliance, completion within a timely manner and budgets.
- Plan projects in terms of scope, schedule and costs and designate project resources
- Administer, lead, and supervise building contracts.
- Ensuring client needs are understood and accurately addressed.
- Manage the execution of projects and attend planning, design, and site meetings.
- Prepare & contribute to technical memos & reports.
- Assist in preparation of fee proposals and bids.
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders and measure departmental and project performance to identify areas of improvement.
- Grow the division to target new clients and find ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels.
- Mentor your team members and provide a plan to help them achieve PR registration.
- Organizing the budget of the division in collaboration with the director.
Requirements
- BSc/BEng/BTech Qualification.
- PrEng/PrTech Certification.
- Analytical thinker with strong problem solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Must be willing to travel.
