We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Ingres Database Administrator (E2) to join our infrastructure team. This is a hands-on technical role that demands deep expertise in Ingres RDBMS administration, performance tuning, and database migration. You will play a key role in managing mission-critical databases, ensuring high availability, and driving performance optimization across the enterprise.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience in Ingres RDBMS administration in production environments.
  
• Deep expertise in Ingres SQL development, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  Proven experience with database backup/recovery and disaster recovery planning.
  
• Demonstrated ability to lead and execute end-to-end database migrations.
  
• Solid command of Ingres utilities: copydb, unloaddb, infodb, auditdb, etc.
  Proficient in Linux/UNIX environments; shell scripting is a plus.
  
• Understanding of HA, replication, and failover mechanisms.
  
• Familiarity with compliance standards, auditing, and database security controls.
  
• Ability to proactively monitor and resolve performance or capacity issues.
