? Senior Africa Travel Specialist
? Location: Johannesburg, South Africa (office-based). Candidates must be able to work from the Johannesburg office.
? Type of Property/Client: Leading luxury hospitality and travel company, specialising in bespoke itineraries across Southern and East Africa.

? Summary of Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years experience as a Senior Travel Consultant or Africa Specialist, ideally within a luxury tour operator or DMC

• Proven sales track record with the ability to meet and exceed sales and conversion targets

• Deep destination knowledge of Southern and East Africa, with strong existing networks in the industry

• Proficiency in travel reservations systems (ResRequest, Tourplan, Safari Portal, and CRM systems)

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to design, quote, and confirm high-end tailor-made itineraries

• Confident in handling high-value clients, resolving issues promptly, and providing an exceptional guest experience

• Degree or diploma in Tourism or Hospitality (advantageous)

• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to upsell and cross-sell luxury properties and experiences

• Must be detail-oriented, professional, and able to manage complex bookings accurately from enquiry through to departure
