The SAP Project Systems (PS) Consultant will provide technical and functional support and maintenance services for SAP R/3 ECC6 EHP7 and SAP S/4 HANA systems as part of a project focused on delivering high-quality SAP solutions. The role involves ensuring the effective implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of the SAP PS module to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

        Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize the SAP PS module in both SAP R/3 ECC6 EHP7 and SAP S/4 HANA environments to align with business processes, including project structures, cost planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.

        Functional Support: Provide expert functional support for SAP PS, including project definition, work breakdown structures (WBS), network activities, milestones, and integration with other SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, PM).

        Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP PS, including system performance, interfaces, and enhancements using ABAP, Fiori, or other relevant technologies.

        System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks such as applying patches, updates, and enhancements to ensure system stability and compliance with SAP best practices.

        Business Process Optimization: Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze and optimize project management processes, ensuring alignment with SAP PS capabilities.

        Data Migration: Support data migration activities from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4 HANA, ensuring data integrity and consistency in the PS module.

        Integration: Ensure seamless integration of SAP PS with other modules (e.g., FI/CO for cost controlling, MM for procurement, and HCM for resource planning) in both ECC and S/4 HANA environments.

        Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver end-user training, create user manuals, and maintain detailed documentation for configurations, processes, and custom developments.

        Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate SAP PS configurations and enhancements.

        Project Management Support: Assist project managers in planning and executing SAP PS-related tasks, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.

        Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all configurations and processes adhere to SAP best practices, industry standards, and organizational policies.

Requirements

        Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

        Experience:

o   Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an SAP PS Consultant, with expertise in both SAP R/3 ECC6 EHP7 and SAP S/4 HANA.

o   Proven track record of delivering at least two full-cycle SAP PS implementations, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live support.

o   Experience with SAP PS integration with FI/CO, MM, SD, and other modules.

o   Familiarity with SAP S/4 HANAs simplified data models and Fiori-based user interfaces.

        Technical Skills:

o   Strong knowledge of SAP PS configuration, including project profiles, WBS elements, networks, cost planning, budgeting, and settlement processes.

o   Proficiency in ABAP for custom developments and debugging (desirable).

o   Experience with SAP Fiori apps for PS and knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.

o   Understanding of SAP HANA database concepts and their impact on PS module performance.

        Functional Skills:

o   Deep understanding of project management processes, such as cost control, resource management, and scheduling within SAP PS.

o   Ability to map business requirements to SAP PS solutions effectively.

o   Strong problem-solving skills to address functional and technical issues.

        Certifications (preferred):

o   SAP Certified Application Associate SAP S/4 HANA Project Systems.

o   SAP Certified Application Associate SAP ECC Project Systems.
