Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts within the reinsurance division.
• Process and reconcile reinsurance statements, premiums, and claims.
• Prepare and deliver accurate client account reports on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Liaise with underwriting, claims, and finance teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of records.
• Resolve client queries efficiently and maintain positive relationships.
• Assist in audit processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Job Experience & Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the reinsurance or insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of reinsurance contracts and accounting treatment.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks in the South African insurance market (e.g., SAM, IFRS 17).
