Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable and robust software solutions for our EdTech platform.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code across our backend and frontend systems.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to define, scope, and deliver new features and improvements.
- Ensure the performance, security, and reliability of our applications.
- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and champion best practices within the team.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and strategic technical decisions.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Expert-level proficiency with React.js for building responsive and user-friendly web interfaces.
- Strong experience with Django (Python web framework) for developing robust and scalable backend APIs and applications.
- Demonstrated experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway) for deploying and managing cloud infrastructure.
- Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with educational technology or e-learning platforms.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Pytest).
