Centurion: RF Engineer posted by Communicate Finance

From conception to production of a variety of RF and analogue electrical goods, design and develop circuits
Ensuring that reliability requirements are met in the design: these include E.M.C (electromagnetic compatibility), safety, manufacturability and thermal design aspects
Support Production in terms of trouble shooting
Frequent usage of RF equipment including: Spectrum and Network Analysers, Oscilloscope, Power Meter, Signal Generator, and Power Supplies
Specify and recommend test resources, processes, capabilities, and technology to enhance production capability
Support the system engineering with low-level design validation. Contribute to the system-level or conceptual design
 
Skills & Experience: 
Minimum 2-5 years in RF development environment
Design experience in amplifiers and cavity filter design
RF metrology experience
Altium designer (schematic and PCB layout)
Analog simulation tools (LTSpice, Microwave Office)
Designing and testing for RTCA compliance
 
Qualification:
BEng/BSc in Engineering
Honours/Masters/Phd advantageous
