Job Description
A privately owned Guest House, situated in Green Point, Cape Town is seeking to appoint an experienced Guest House Manager to manage the day-to-day operation and report directly to the owners.
Key Responsibilities(not limited to):

Oversee all guest check-ins/outs – Welcome guests and provide exceptional service

Manage the Nightsbridge booking calendar
-
Handle emails, messages, and payments across platforms (Apply Below, Expedia, Agoda, etc.)
-
Purchase daily essentials for cleaning and breakfast preparation
-
Coordinate with the laundry service
-
Check rooms for readiness before guest arrivals
-
Assist with breakfast service (preparation, orders, serving, and clearing)
-
Offer concierge services
-
Manage TripAdvisor and Google reviews, as well as Social Media Marketing (Facebook & Instagram)
-
Prepare financial documentation for the accounting team
-
Address any emergencies and oversee minor renovations
-
Provide regular updates to the owners
-
Oversee two staff members
Requirements:
-
SA Citizen
-
Single status with no pets as accommodation is live-in
-
Previous Guest House Management required
-
Have a valid drivers license and transport
-
Friendly and hands-on approach
-
Computer literate
Working Hours: Approximately Apply Below hours per week, including duty every second weekend (details to be agreed upon with the owners)
