Paarl: Mechanical Design Engineer

Design and develop mechanical systems and components focused on accuracy, and cost-effectiveness Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings to standards Prepare part specifications, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and implement engineering change proposals on designs Implement and manage design changes while ensuring documentation and drawings remain current Drafting of P&IDs Provide technical support during manufacturing processes and support on site for technicians Skills & Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in machine design within a manufacturing or project-based environment Strong proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks or similar) Competent in MS Word, Excel, and technical documentation management Excellent problem-solving and technical communication skills Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solution-driven approach Willingness to travel locally and internationally when required Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
