Job Description
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a restaurant management or senior supervisory role within a full-service or high-volume establishment.
- Working knowledge of GAAP or Dawn Plan POS systems.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills for cost tracking and reporting.
- Strong operational understanding, including stock management, cash control, and service coordination.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate teams of 15–25 staff members.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the restaurant to maintain service and operational standards.
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Manage shift scheduling, attendance tracking, and staff performance to meet operational requirements
- Oversee stock control, supplier coordination, and cost management to achieve budgeted targets.
- Assist with financial reporting, including daily cash-ups, sales summaries, and cost analysis.
- Handle customer service matters professionally, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and occupational health standards.
- Participate in staff development, training, and performance reviews.
