Candidate requirements
- Must have 2–4 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or trade-facing roles; preferably in travel, hospitality, or tourism.
- Familiarity with African travel or safaris is a strong advantage.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable guiding others through online tools or digital platforms.
- Strong communicator—both in writing and verbally—with a helpful, professional tone.
- Highly organized, proactive, and self-motivated, especially in a remote work environment.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Previous experience with CRM platforms preferred; confident learning and using digital tools to manage agent communication and sales tracking.
- Highly organized in digital file handling and clear in written communication.
- Comfortable working across remote collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, shared drives).
- Passion for conservation and responsible tourism.
Candidate responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for low- and mid-volume agent inquiries.
- Respond to questions related to availability, product basics, booking processes, and account setup.
- Escalate complex or strategic queries to senior team members as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records of agent interactions in CRM systems.
- Host basic training sessions or small-group webinars to improve agent self-sufficiency.
- Identify common barriers to digital adoption and provide feedback to the team.
- Assist in researching new agent prospects and preparing for outreach campaigns.
- Help manage event logistics, trade show preparations, and follow-up communications.
- Support the creation and distribution of tailored sales collateral and marketing tools.
- Help gather feedback from agent fam trips to improve sales content and campaigns.
- Across all interactions, promote the image of the sales team as a best-in-class externally with our
- clients and internally with our key stakeholders.
Conditions and Working Hours
- You are required to work 9 hours per day including an hour lunch break. The working hours are determined according to the team set-up with flexibility.
- Overtime may be required during peak periods for which you will be compensated with time off in lieu.
- You may be required to travel for work from time to time.
