About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Creditors Administrator to join our team in Pretoria North. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s creditors, ensuring mutual satisfaction with customers, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct credit analysis of companies and subsidiaries to ensure timely payments.
- Allocate payments against relevant supplier accounts.
- Check age analysis weekly to manage unpaid suppliers.
- Request statements from suppliers to reconcile according to agreed processes and procedures.
- Identify reconciliation items and propose actions.
- Manage Creditors Queries by ensuring professional engagement with all stakeholders, logging queries according to system procedures, investigating query routes, resolving/channelling queries to the correct parties, and following-up on resolved queries.
- Document Control: filing of supporting documentation according to agreed procedure.
- Payment / Remittance Reconciliation and Preparation: capturing invoices timeously, reconciling source documents to supplier statements for payment, preparing payments on terms according to agreed system and procedure, issuing reconciliation with supporting documentation for approval prior to payment.
Requirements
- Matric
- 3 – 5 years creditors management experience is required
- 3-5 years FMCG financial experience will be advantageous (not a requirement)
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation
