? Position: Inventory Controller / Logistics Supervisor
Location: Brackenfell, Cape Town
Company: Leading Elevator Service & Maintenance Provider
We’re looking for a hands-on Inventory Controller / Logistics Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day logistics and stock operations at our Brackenfell branch. The role involves supervising 2 storemen and a driver (currently temporarily unavailable) while ensuring smooth coordination of all stock, parts, and material flow for our elevator maintenance and repair teams.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate all logistics and inventory functions.
• Manage 2 storemen and a driver, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring accurate record-keeping on the VIP system.
• Maintain optimal stock levels for elevator components, tools, and consumables.
• Liaise with technicians and the operations team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Implement and maintain proper stock control processes and reporting systems.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in inventory control, logistics supervision, or warehouse management.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Experience using the VIP system (or similar inventory software).
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Background in engineering, mechanical, or technical environments (elevator or HVAC industry experience advantageous).

Salary: Negotiable based on experience
