Employer Description Engineering Company Job Description Supplier Contract Management Supplier Negotiation Extensive knowledge of claims handling Supplier cost control and risk mitigation strategies Drafting of complex contractual agreements Approval and governance of contract amendments and change orders Development and enforcement of confidentiality and IP protection protocols High-level Supplier engagement and dispute resolution Oversight of claims management and resolution strategies Leadership in tender adjudications and commercial evaluations Review and approval of contractual documentation for compliance and risk Attending to commercial queries during tender stage Commercial and contractual compliance Assisting with tender adjudications Review credit applications Assessing and approving monthly claims from Suppliers for invoicing Negotiating Advance Payment and Performance Bonds Qualifications Tertiary legal or equivalent qualification and relevant industry experience such as LLB (or similar) and/or QS/ Engineering qualifications. Relevant post graduate qualifications, albeit technical, management or business related could be advantageous Skills 10 to 15 years in contracts and commercial management. Particular knowledge of Construction Contract suites such as FIDIC, NEC, JBCC and GCC. Proven leadership in managing complex EPS/EPC/EPCM projects and contract portfolios. Demonstrated experience in strategic negotiations and dispute resolution. Experience in mentoring and leading contract administration teams. Experience in negotiating commercial terms with Suppliers. Proficiency in drafting of bespoke agreements, NDAs and credit applications. A thorough understanding of Mercantile and Contract Law. A proper grasp of contracts management principals. The end-to-end Supply Chain process. Good understanding of Engineering processes. Claim management proficiency. Financial acumen.
