Salary: R15,000 per month | Live-Out Position

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a Bartender for a prestigious luxury property group based in Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-end hospitality team delivering world-class service in a refined setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in line with the establishments quality standards

• Engage with guests in a professional and welcoming manner, providing exceptional service

• Recommend drinks based on customer preferences and knowledge of mixology

• Ensure the bar is fully stocked, organized, and clean at all times

• Maintain inventory, monitor stock levels, and assist with stock orders when needed

• Adhere to responsible service of alcohol guidelines and all relevant health and safety standards

• Handle payments, operate the POS system, and ensure accurate cash-ups

• Contribute to creating a warm, welcoming, and elegant atmosphere for guests

• Assist with bar setup and breakdown during events or service periods

• Work collaboratively with the restaurant and events team to ensure seamless guest experiences

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience as a bartender in a luxury or fine dining environment

• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and bar operations

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Well-presented, energetic, and service-oriented

• Ability to multitask in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

• A team player with a positive, can-do attitude

• Mixology certification or wine knowledge is a plus
