Financial Manager

Our client, a leading property company, is seeking a dynamic Financial Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional who is ready to take ownership of the finance function in a growing, fast-paced environment.
Key Requirements:

• BCom Honours in Accounting/Finance (essential)
• Completed Articles (SAICA/SAIPA)
• CA(SA) designation (essential)
• 3–5 years post-article experience, preferably within property, real estate, or related industries
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and IFRS expertise
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance

Responsibilities:

• Full financial management of the property portfolios
• Preparation and review of monthly management reports and annual financial statements
• Cash flow management and forecasting
• Oversee budgets, variance analysis, and cost control
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements
• Partner with senior management on strategic initiatives
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team

• Analyse performance, highlight variances, and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain finance systems, policies, and procedures across the group
• Support tax calculations and year-end submissions

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• CA(SA) accreditation is essential
• Passed bot IAC and APC
• Newly Qualified or finalizing SAICA traineeship in 2025
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and compliance
• Confident in reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Ability to lead under pressure and meet deadlines
