Cape Town City Centre: Temporary Accountant

Are you an experienced Accountant looking for your next challenge? Join a dynamic group and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records for selected international companies within the group. About the Role As a Temporary Accountant , you’ll ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time. You’ll handle Accounts Payable , General Ledger reconciliations , journal entries , and cash flow management , while supporting both internal and external audits. Key Responsibilities Capture and process supplier invoices accurately Perform monthly AP and GL reconciliations Resolve supplier discrepancies and maintain good relationships Process journal entries with correct GL codes Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts Support working capital management Assist during internal and external audits Requirements Degree in Accounting or related field Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Accountant Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Excellent Excel skills and experience with accounting systems Strong attention to detail and analytical ability Ability to manage shifting priorities and meet deadlines What’s in it for You Exposure to international group companies Supportive team and dynamic environment Opportunity to contribute to key financial operations
