Oversee the full lifecycle of HVAC projects, with a primary focus on VRV, VRF, and DX systems.
Plan, schedule, and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
Coordinate site activities, resources, materials, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution
Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets, including costing reports and forecasts
Support the management of claims, pricing variations, and identification of commercial risks
Work closely with the Head of Projects to ensure profitability targets are achieved
Accurately interpret HVAC drawings, specifications, and technical designs
Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with technical and quality standards
Liaise with clients and consultants for inspections, approvals, and project commissioning
Provide consistent updates on project progress, costs, and risk factors
Maintain thorough project documentation, including site instructions and QA checklists
Lead project meetings and ensure all close-out documentation is completed and submitted
 
Skills and Experience
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in HVAC project delivery
Strong understanding of mechanical drawings, installation methods, and commissioning
Familiarity with SANS regulations, OEM standards, and HVAC installation practices
Experience working with leading HVAC brands
Computer literate in Excel, MS Project, or other project tracking tools
 
Qualifications
Trade qualification or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Project Management.
