Johannesburg: Sales Engineer – Filtration

A global leader in industrial filtration and separation technology is seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to spearhead business development across South Africa and key African regions . This is a high-impact role for a technically minded professional with solid experience in filtration, process equipment, or mineral processing , and the drive to expand market presence beyond borders. Non-Negotiable Requirements: ✠Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering ✠Minimum 5 years experience in technical sales within filtration, process, or industrial equipment sectors ✠Strong knowledge of liquid-solid separation, filter press systems, or dust filtration ✠Proven success managing accounts across mining, refining, and industrial plants ✠Experience in cross-border trade and export sales within Southern or Sub-Saharan Africa ✠Valid passport, drivers licence, and willingness to travel frequently ✠Strong business acumen and communication skills Job Experience & Skills Required: Drive new business and manage key accounts across Southern Africa and neighbouring regions Conduct on-site technical assessments and recommend fit-for-purpose filtration solutions Prepare and negotiate technical quotations and tenders Collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure client satisfaction Build and maintain relationships with end-users, distributors, and project houses Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regional opportunities Represent the company at international trade shows, site visits, and technical events For more engineering jobs, please visit: 🌐
