Field Guide | Luxury Safari Lodge | Kruger National Park, South Africa Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Field Guide for a Luxury Safari Lodge based in the stunning wilderness of Kruger National Park, South Africa. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and professional guide to join a leading hospitality group, delivering exceptional safari experiences both on foot and by vehicle, while contributing to the mentorship and development of the guiding team. Requirements: · FGASA Level 2 Nature Site Guide (NQF4) · Trails Guide qualification · ARH (Advanced Rifle Handling) and Rifle Proficiency · Valid First Aid Level 1 · Valid Driver’s License and PrDP · Previous experience as a Field Guide in a luxury lodge environment Key Responsibilities: · Conduct game drives and bush walks, providing immersive and informative safari experiences · Uphold company and FGASA guiding standards and protocols at all times · Support Safari Management with daily operational and administrative duties · Mentor and guide junior field guides in line with company culture and values · Ensure all vehicles, equipment, and safari assets are maintained to the highest standards · Conduct guest safety briefings and manage emergency situations professionally · Track and interpret wildlife activity, delivering insightful ecological information · Communicate guest preferences and feedback to management · Positively represent the lodge through guest interaction and social media contributions Key Skills & Attributes: · Strong understanding of guiding operations and standards · Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills · Passion for wildlife, conservation, and guest experience · High attention to detail, with a professional and composed demeanor under pressure · Proactive, flexible, and solution-driven approach · Team-oriented with strong leadership and mentorship qualities Package: · Salary: Negotiable depending on experience · Live-in accommodation provided · Meals on duty · Uniform and relevant operational support · Opportunities for growth within a respected luxury lodge group To apply for the Field Guide position, please send your updated CV, reference letters, qualifications, and a recent head & shoulders photo today Please note: Due to the high volume of applications, only candidates who meet the listed requirements for the position will be contacted.
