Job Description
- Conduct plant checks with electrical charge hand and artisans.
- Assist the Engineer in planning, organizing, and controlling the Electrical Department.
- Supervise repairs to motors, control equipment, and other electrical systems.
- Ensure all work is completed according to job cards and planned maintenance schedules.
- Report and follow up on serious defects to ensure timely repair or replacement.
- Inspect completed maintenance work and ensure compliance with standards.
- Undertake installation and modification of plant and equipment as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the electrical field post-apprenticeship.
- N4 Electrical Qualification with Electrical Trade Test.
- Management experience in an engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of HV, MV, and LV reticulation.
- Proficient in various PLC systems and fault-finding techniques.
- Thorough understanding of electrical and electronic equipment, tools, and industry practices.
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD line diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving and team leadership skills.
