Job Description
Our Client in the Distribution Industry is seeking to employ a Sales Representative to their team based in Johannesburg South.
Requirements:
- Advanced communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Good problem-solving ability.
- Sober habits.
- Positive outlook and passion.
- Self-motivated.
- Entrepreneurial skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- FMCG related.
- Possible tobacco or liquor FMCG background.
- Diploma or Degree is required.
- Very good health and no criminal record.
- Technical skills on an iPad and experience in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Call on total customer base (Retail Key Account Channel & Wholesale Channel) in the allocated area: Soweto, Alexandra, Johannesburg Central, Midvaal, Lenasia, Lyndhurst, and Vaal Triangle regions.
- Prospect for new business opportunities within the allocated territory.
- Extend the range of products in all stores.
- Introduce new products to existing and potential customers.
- Ensure consistent customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.
- Monitor competitor activity and report on market trends.
- Provide feedback on customer needs and product performance.
- Utilize digital tools (e.g., iPad, Microsoft Office) for sales reporting and territory management.
- Maintain professionalism and uphold company standards during all client interactions.
- Remain based in Pretoria with no overnight travel required for the Gauteng region.
