General Manager – Hospitality Industry
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our hospitality operation with excellence and integrity. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing high-performing teams, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth through strategic leadership.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations, including front of house, food and beverage, housekeeping, and guest services
• Lead, motivate, and develop staff to ensure consistently high service standards
• Drive revenue growth through effective cost control, marketing initiatives, and operational efficiency
• Maintain strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and key stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hospitality regulations
• Monitor financial performance and prepare regular reports and forecasts
• Implement and uphold company policies, service standards, and brand values

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ management experience within the hospitality industry (hotel, resort, or similar environment preferred)
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent financial and operational management abilities
• Proven experience in improving service quality and operational performance
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure

Qualifications and Experience
Education:

• Tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism, or Business Administration (essential).
• Additional training in Wildlife Management, Hunting Operations, or Eco-tourism advantageous.

Experience:

• Minimum 5–10 years of lodge or hotel management experience, with at least 3 years at General Manager or Assistant GM level.
• Proven experience managing both luxury game lodges and hunting operations.
• Strong financial management, operational planning, and people leadership experience.
• Sound understanding of hospitality standards, wildlife management, and guest relations in a luxury safari environment.
