People & Culture Manager Scope of Position As a key member of the Executive Committee ; the People & Culture Manager oversees all HR operations across the hotels entities and supports the implementation of strategies that position the company as an Employer of Choice . The role focuses on employee engagement, compliance, and fostering a positive, high-performance culture. Key Responsibilities Lead daily People & Culture operations in line with South African Labour Law and company policies. Drive employee engagement, productivity, and wellbeing through effective leadership and training. Partner with department heads to align HR practices with operational goals. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations. Support leaders in implementing Employee Engagement Survey action plans. Manage employee recognition, wellness, and social initiatives. Maintain accurate HR policies, systems, and audit compliance. Promote a culture of trust, communication, and collaboration aligned with company values. Ensure compliance with all Health; Safety, and Wellbeing standards. Qualifications & Experience Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or related field. Minimum 5 years experience in an HR leadership role, ideally within hospitality or service industries. Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation and HR best practices. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop diverse teams. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural awareness.
