• Ensure that adequate IT cybersecurity and information security controls are implemented and maintained.
• Maintain an IT infrastructure capable of supporting the organisation’s operational and strategic needs.
• Comply with IT governance and strategy requirements and work toward achieving industry best practices.
• Ensure service delivery targets are met in line with agreed SLAs and support effective business continuity processes.
• Coordinate and supervise infrastructure projects to ensure effective execution and delivery of required business benefits.
• Understand the objectives of various business departments and provide input on IT initiatives that support and enhance their needs.
• Provide guidance and technical leadership to system administrators and support teams.
• Manage governance and compliance activities to effectively mitigate IT-related risks.
• Enforce adherence to the IT governance framework and ensure team compliance at all times.
• Build and maintain strong internal customer and supplier relationships through effective communication and collaboration to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Plan IT projects and ensure their successful implementation within budget and aligned to business objectives.
• Manage the full IT asset life cycle, including both hardware and software.

 
Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree/NQF Level 7 in Information Technology or equivalent.
• 8 Years’ working experience in IT Operations:
  -Solid server farm management including network, storage and backup systems.
  -Technical architecture experience.
  -Knowledge or working experience in Project Management.
  -Design and implementation of new and replacement IT Infrastructure.
