Job Description
- Agricultural Diploma/Degree
- At least 10 years farm Manager experience essential
- Experience crop and cattle farming
- Computer literate
- Ability to work well independently and within a team
- Strong management and communication skills
- Being maintenance/mechanically orientated
- Valid driver’s license
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Manage human resources and administration
- Land preparation for planting
- Veld management
- Water reticulation management eg cleaning of dams and water infrastructure
- Fence maintenance
- Animal management Trucks, tractor and implements maintenance
- Knowledge of soil nutrients, grain cultivars, fertilizer and pesticides utilisation
- Cattle management eg disease management and feedlot management
