About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client, a leading mining company based in Johannesburg, South Africa, is seeking a dedicated and driven Bookkeeper to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the company’s compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for the company
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reports
- Prepare monthly financial reports for management review
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting role
Proficiency in accounting software (Sage One) and Microsoft Excel
Experience in the mining industry preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Certificate or diploma in bookkeeping or accounting
