Job Description
Pretoria/Centurion – Gauteng – South Africa
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements.
- Budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Perform variance analysis and prepare management reports.
- Benchmarking reports.
- Assist with Audit preparations and liaise with external Auditors.
- Prepare VAT, PAYE, and tax reconciliations and submissions.
- Maintain General Ledger accounts and ensure reconciliations are accurate.
- Assist in cost analysis, profitability tracking, and performance metrics.
- Drive cost saving / expense reduction.
- Contribute to process improvements and financial system efficiency.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure financial alignment.
- Ensure compliance with relevant revenue services and financial regulations and standards.
- CA(SA) 3 + years post-articles.
- Completed SAICA articles at a reputable Audit firm.
- Strong technical knowledge in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Exposure to FMCG, Retail, or QSR industries.
