Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled C++ Software Engineer to join their client’s team in Sandton. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-performance applications, solving complex problems, and collaborating with other engineers to create innovative solutions. Responsibilities

• Analyse needs and generate specifications.
• Design and implement software applications (coding).
• Test, review, and deliver applications within QMS.
• Maintain existing software by updating and fixing bugs; document changes accordingly.
• Update data packs and/or software release versions.
• Support production and service personnel as required.
• Ensure appropriate version control.
• Adhere to processes necessary for maintaining Medical Device Certification.
• Provide inputs to technical documentation as needed.
• Lead and manage development tasks and projects.

Requirements

• Grade 12 – Mandatory
• BSc or BEng in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Preference for candidates with formal education in mathematics up to the 3rd year level.
• Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in programming with C++, C, C#, and Visual Studio.
• Proficient in C++ with strong coding ability.
• Hands-on experience in software development, responsible for development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of projects/products.
• Exposure to system and architecture design.
• Experience in software and hardware integration and testing.
• Familiarity with software and firmware development and integration with hardware.
• Experience with source control systems (e.g., Git) and conducting code reviews.
• Knowledge of software documentation as part of SDLC, specifications, and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Familiarity with unit testing, performance analysis, resource loading, and end-to-end integration tests.
• Exposure to API integration.
• Understanding of processes to maintain Medical Device Certification.
