Johannesburg North: Credit Investment Portfolio Manager posted by Network Finance

You will work closely with investment, legal, operations, finance, and valuation teams to deliver transactions and strengthen the organisation’s position as a principal investor and servicer of non-performing credit portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
– Structure, negotiate, and execute distressed credit transactions end-to-end
– Identify and evaluate investment opportunities through market and portfolio analysis
– Develop financial models, valuations, and investment cases for approval
– Manage due diligence, transaction timelines, and stakeholder engagement
– Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver tailored client solutions
– Monitor post-transaction portfolio performance and recovery outcomes
– Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members

Qualifications & Experience
– CA(SA), CFA, or BCom Honours in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
– 3–5 years’ experience in credit investing, investment banking, corporate finance, or portfolio management
– Strong financial modelling, analytical, and investment case presentation skills
– Knowledge of distressed credit, credit risk, and regulatory frameworks (e.g. IFRS 9, Basel)
– Commercial, solution-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
