Job Description Job Purpose: The Third Party Liability Claims Consultant is responsible for managing and administering third-party liability claims efficiently and accurately. The role ensures that claims are processed in accordance with company policies and industry regulations while providing exceptional service to clients, policyholders, and third parties. Key Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end administration of third-party liability claims. Investigate and assess claims, ensuring accurate evaluation and timely resolution. Liaise with clients, insurers, legal representatives, and other stakeholders regarding claims progress. Advise clients and internal teams on claims procedures, coverage, and liability matters. Ensure compliance with regulatory and company requirements at all times. Maintain accurate records and produce detailed claims reports. Identify trends and potential risks to support mitigation strategies. Handle escalations and complex claims with professionalism and efficiency Qualifications Diploma or degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Law, or a related field. Relevant insurance qualifications such as SAQA-accredited courses, CII, or other recognized certifications preferred. Minimum of 23 years experience in liability claims or third-party claims handling. Skills and Competencies: Strong knowledge of third-party liability insurance, claims procedures, and legal frameworks. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy in claims assessment and documentation. Client-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders. Proficiency in insurance claims software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
