Cape Town City Centre: Renewable Energy – Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the full finance function, including month-end close, reporting, and audits. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost centre analysis; identify and implement corrective actions. Liaise with external service providers, including tax and accounting partners. Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and tax requirements. Administer inter-company contracts, insurance, lease agreements, and payment runs (local and cross-border). Project finance support: validate cost calculations, monitor project margins, prepare forecasts and variance analyses. Advise management on finance and tax matters; assist in strategic projects. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred. Completed accounting articles (SAICA, SAIPA, or equivalent). Proven experience overseeing a full finance function and leading junior team members, ideally within the renewable energy, power, or alternative energy sector . Demonstrated knowledge of financial management for energy projects , including budgeting, forecasting, and project cost control. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and strong time-management skills. SAP experience and company secretarial knowledge advantageous.
