Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and manage multidisciplinary engineering project activities from initiation to close-out.
• Develop, review, and approve mechanical designs, specifications, calculations, and engineering deliverables.
• Prepare and manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and risk registers.
• Conduct design reviews, ensure engineering standards are met, and drive best-practice design methodologies.
• Interface with clients, internal departments, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Support procurement activities, including technical evaluations and vendor selection.
• Oversee fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Provide technical leadership to junior engineers and support project teams with problem-solving.
• Ensure all work is compliant with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Mechanical BEng degree (Mandatory).
• 6–10 years’ experience in project engineering within mining, minerals processing, water treatment, or heavy industrial environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical equipment, process plant layouts, and project execution practices.
• Proven ability to manage full project life cycles and coordinate multiple engineering disciplines.
• Proficiency in engineering software and project management tools.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience

• EPC/EPCM project exposure.
• Experience with large-scale mechanical systems, tanks, piping, conveyors, clarifiers, thickeners, or similar process equipment.
