Job Description:
Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
Process and reconcile financial transactions to ensure accurate, up-to-date general ledger records
Support budgeting and forecasting processes by collecting data, analyzing trends, and preparing reports
Manage creditors and debtors functions, including processing invoices, reconciliations, and follow-ups
Provide financial insights to operational teams and assist with ad-hoc projects to improve processes and efficiency

Skills & Experience:
Completed SAIPA articles
 
Qualification:
Completed Finance or Accounting Degree

Responsibilities:
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS and relevant standards.
Manage monthly bookkeeping and reconciliations for clients.
Handle VAT, PAYE, and other statutory returns.
Assist with tax planning and compliance for individuals and businesses.
Liaise with clients to provide professional advice and resolve queries.
Ensure deadlines are met and maintain high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

• Completed SAIPA articles and eligible for SAIPA membership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax legislation.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Pastel, Xero, Sage).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
