Klerksdorp: Senior Creditor Controller posted by Hire Resolve

Hire Resolves client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Creditor Controller to join their team in Klerksdorp, North West. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the accounts payable and creditor control functions within the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the accounts payable process, including processing invoices, payment approvals, and reconciliation of vendor accounts
• Ensure accurate and timely payments to creditors within agreed payment terms
• Monitor and control cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet payment obligations
• Review and approve creditor reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline the creditor control process and improve efficiency
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members and assist in their training and development
• Maintain strong relationships with creditors and internal stakeholders to resolve any issues or disputes

Requirements: 

• At least 2 years relevant experience (candidates who have experience in management will receive preference)
• Completed SAIPA (B. Com degree with articles)
• Advanced Excel
• Accounting Principles
• Basic VAT principles
• Basic Audit principles
