Company and Job Description:

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Treasurer to join our client’s Finance Department in Kempton Park. The successful candidate will oversee all treasury, cash management, and foreign exchange functions across multiple entities within the group. This role offers the chance to make a measurable impact by implementing efficient financial controls, improving liquidity, and driving value through sound financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement treasury procedures, internal controls, and risk management strategies.
• Manage relationships with banks and ensure SARB compliance.
• Oversee cashflow forecasting, liquidity management, and investments.
• Monitor and mitigate foreign exchange risks.
• Review and sign off on creditors’ reconciliations and payments.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and support audits and BEE certification processes.

 

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Treasurer or within a senior finance role.
• Relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Treasury Management.
• Strong understanding of SARB regulations, accounting standards, and foreign exchange principles.
• Proficient in MS Office and Accpac.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to perform under pressure.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor staff.
