About the role
To provide entry-level support to the finance department while gaining practical exposure to accounting processes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with capturing financial transactions.
• Support invoice processing and basic reconciliations.
• Assist with filing and maintaining financial records.
• Support month-end preparation tasks under supervision.
• Assist with data collection for reports.
• General finance and administrative support.

Minimum Requirements

• South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
• Must not have participated on the YES programme before.
• Matric.
• Accounting as a subject at school or
• A completed or currently studying qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Advantageous

• National Diploma or Degree studies in Accounting / Finance.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Exposure to accounting systems (e.g. SAP, Sage, Pastel – not essential).
