Hire Resolves client in the civil engineering sector is urgently seeking the expertise of a Structural Engineer (PrEng) in Cape Town.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, analyzing, and evaluating structures to ensure their safety, reliability, and quality.
• Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals to develop cost-effective and efficient solutions for various projects.
• Working on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial structures.
• Managing a design team to ensure project deliverables are met.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) or working towards certification.
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, codes, and standards.
• Experience with structural analysis and design software, Sofistik FEM preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit and other design software/draughting packages.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
