Durban: Low Level Operator posted by Hire Resolve

Hire Resolves client is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Low Level Operator to join their team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The Low Level Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining low level equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment, in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Operate low level equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks, to move materials and products throughout the facility
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment by following all safety guidelines and procedures
• Load and unload materials from trucks and shelves
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, such as checking fluid levels and changing batteries
• Assist in other warehouse tasks as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating low level equipment
• Valid certification to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and team player attitude
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
