Job Description
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and communicate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Monitor and control project budgets, expenses, and timelines.
- Review construction plans and specifications to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Oversee onsite construction activities to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project plans.
- Manage and resolve any construction-related issues or disputes that may arise.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Prepare progress reports and present project updates to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager, with a track record of successfully completed projects.
- Registered Construction Manager with SACPCMP
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Certifications or professional affiliations in construction management are a plus.
