Cape Town City Centre: SAIPA TRAINEE

Our client is looking for looking to employ a bright and independent trainee who wants to qualify as a Chartered Accountant and to join their dynamic growing team. Main Responsibilities (included but are not limited to): Completion of all tasks necessary to gain sufficient exposure to the SAIPA Training Program competencies and related documentation over the period of traineeship to a SAIPA degree of expertise Professional Accountant (SA) Management accounting Management reports SARS calculations & submissions Preparation of Annual financial statements Valuations Cashflow forecasts Independent reviews As minimum Busy with appropriate degree (preferably third year) Have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Be very comfortable with, and have a general understanding of, computers and software, with an ability to learn new software easily. Have working knowledge of Word and Excel. Have strong analytical ability and work well under pressure while maintaining high levels of accuracy and quality of work. Be deadline driven and able to work independently without constant supervision. Have a strong desire to learn and develop in the position in line with furthering your traineeship. Afrikaans and English Successfully completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree, or almost completed with your degree with the following required core subjects from a SAIPA-accredited tertiary institution: Financial Accounting 3. Taxation 1. Auditing 1 Internal Auditing 2 Internal Control and Code of Ethics.
