About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Payroll Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for preparing and processing monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process monthly payroll
- Review and ensure accuracy of approved advances, travel, and overtime claims
- Communicate payroll statistics to Payroll Manager and address any concerns or recommendations
- Process timesheets and hours (T&A)
- Ensure employees are paid correctly and on time
- Conduct monthly payroll audits
- Ensure compliance with SARS PAYE, UIF, ETI, Provident Fund, and SDL
- Compile and maintain all payroll policies and procedures
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Payroll Administration
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and other applications such as Sage software Sage 300 People system
- Advance Excel Vlookup and Pivot tables
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation
- Valid Driver’s License & Own Transportation
