Job Title: Financial Manager
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Financial Manager or related role.
- Understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.
- Sound knowledge of accounting software, preferably Pastel.
- People and general management experience will be given preference.
Duties:
- Management of full financial function.
- Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
- Advise on investment options.
- Develop trends and projections for the groups finances.
- Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances.
- Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
Key competencies:
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are followed.
- Exceptional attention to detail with ability to work with data, and compile, review and understand spreadsheets.
